About Us

Rick Scharf former owner of Reed & Scharf Construction Inc. has separated from his partner and started, Scharf Construction Co. LLC. Although our company name has changed slightly, our passion for service and quality of work reign supreme. 


We have been a unionized company since 1987 and remain involved with many unionized companies around St. Louis. Throughout our history, we have hired many workers as apprentices and seen them work through their apprenticeship. Our owner, Rick Scharf, has over 30 years experience in the concrete business and acquired Dale's Trucking in 1995. Additionally, he began his snow removal service with Gamma Tree Service in 1977. Rick and his daughter Rachel continue to not only serve the St. Louis area but many other places in Missouri and across the country in the concrete, trucking and snow removal business.
